Dear folks, we from Hermitage recently moved to Hangzhou, where I (Giacomo) started working at the Tea Research Institute of China. Here, during a weekend hike across the hills around West lake, we met Auntie Hong plucking her tea leaves in her family garden. They have been making handmade baked and sun dried green and black tea for many generations in this pristine environment, which seems far away from the huge metropolis lurking behind the hills. Her Longjin or Dragonwell is pure, made of carefully plucked leaves, and tastes of chestnut, barley, undergrowth, moss. It is refreshing and soothing. Calming, more than energizing. But it depends on personal experience, of course. We are delighted to offer it to you. We hope you can sip it calmly to drive away the frenziness of the world and recollect your ideas in tranquillity, like Wordsworth once said.
