We recently went for a week in Anhui, exploring local teas from remote farmers in the mountains. We were very glad to discover Auntie Lin's Keemun or Qimen Red Tea, that she and her forefathers have been cultivating in the most organic way up in the mountains at about 800 meters up the pine forests of this lush, sparsely inhabited region. This is one of the best, if not the best fully aromatic red teas we found in the world so far. So nuanced, no bright fire-golden in its color, so smooth to the tongue and so long-lasting with its honey-crisp radiance.
