This very classic tea bowl, useful for any tea and any circumstances, comes from the traditional manufacture of Master Yu, in his workshop in Baiyangping, on the mountains near Enshi, Hubei. This is a simple product made of camphor wood, of which the local forests abound. It is a sample of a traditional intangible heritage, Baiyangping Lacquer, a very less known local craftsmanship, often obscured by japanese or Fujian's lacquerware.
