Another delightful product of the technical wisdom of Master Yu in his workshop in Baiyangping Town, near Hermitage Tea's base in Enshi, Hubei Province, Central China. 
This is a tea container that looks like autumn leaves or forest soil, it changes color and shape from every perspective. Master Yu only uses lacquer from local trees, and other wood handcarved by himself in these little cups and objects of art, very little known outside of China and even within China itself. It takes more than 6 months, usually one year to carve these objects, prepare the lacquer, apply layer after layer while smoothing the piece to make it uniform and soft at the touch.
